The source code for all plugins is in a Git project hosted on GitHub (what is git?). You can access each individual plugin repository from there and their associated tags.

If you’re wondering how to get set up with a GitHub project, there’s a nice Git cheat sheet hosted by Zach Rusin to help get you started. Alternatively, you can follow the GitHub guide, skipping the first step about SSH keys.

Gem repository

Plugins and gems are, more or less, one and the same as far as PluginAWeek is concerned. Since some people prefer gems, each plugin is packaged up as a gem and available through RubyGems.org.
